I’m Laura, a second year OTD student in the Pacific University class of 2027.
I’ve worked in a museum, a summer camp, a farmer’s market, and a soup kitchen. I’ve helped open a restaurant and co-taught in a classroom. But it wasn’t until I discovered occupational therapy that I understood the common denominator of my varied work history was my love for occupation itself. My passion is helping others achieve their goals.
What’s your meaningful work?
MISSION
I practice occupational therapy with authentic compassion. I have learned to approach each challenge with curiosity and pragmatism.
I aim to help cultivate resilience in order to find hope beyond optimism.
